Amsler grid

Hold the grating in front of you at a distance of approx. 30 cm. If you wear glasses, perform the test with glasses.

Cover one eye and look at the black dot in the center. Then repeat the test with the other eye.

Do you see any of the following changes?

No dot in the center
Wavy, blurred or distorted lines
Areas of the grid are missing
Different sized boxes
Gray or dark areas

If you notice any of the above changes anew, or your previous perception changes, see an eye doctor.
